Mature Oak Deadwood Removal Over Neighbouring Property
A mature oak tree had developed several dead and decaying limbs extending over a neighbouring garden. Due to the risk of branch failure, these limbs were removed to improve safety while preserving the overall shape and character of the tree.
Because the branches extended above a patio and a boundary brick wall, all material was carefully lowered using rigging techniques to prevent damage to the property below.
Only the affected limbs were removed. The remainder of the oak was left untouched, retaining its natural appearance and long-term value within the landscape.
All cuts were taken back to suitable growth points, helping the tree compartmentalise naturally and reducing the likelihood of unnecessary decay extending into the main stem.
